While the virus has a lot of us spending more time at home than we had ever anticipated, there is a certain home-bound activity that improves quality of life: gardening.

Have you ever dreamed of leaving the city in search of the perfect country farmhouse? Do you have visions of raised garden beds overflowing with bountiful vegetables for you and your family?

As you may have noticed, we have had a very wet spring. According to the US Geological Survey, a station in Lovettsville, Virginia, has recorded 14 inches of precipitation in 2020 already.

While being quarantined is not an activity that most of us would look forward to, staying home during the spring season means there is a lot going on in our own backyards and neighborhoods that we can use to create a fun scavenger hunt with our children.
