The Spotted Lanternfly is in Loudoun County

It has been brought to our attention that the Spotted Lanternfly has arrived in the Loudoun area. We have seen adult Spotted Lanternflies first hand in the Leesburg area. They are quick and easily startled, but if you come across one, please try to kill it, take a picture of it and share it with us.

Contact us with the location of the sighting and please report it to Loudoun County.

There is a lot of talk about these invasive bugs and the damage they can produce.
